The 2015 General Assembly (GA) held in Sydney last week was a big success.
225 delegates representing 65 countries came together to connect, collaborate
and approve the organisation’s strategic direction.
On the Assembly identified the main priorities for the coming years :
1. Data Quality: Creating the Next Steps for Data Quality at Source (Brands) and
Data Quality in Master Data Services.
2. E-Commerce Strategy: The development of e-commerce (E-Commerce Strategy)
3. GS1 Standarts in:
- Healthcare,
- Transport and logistics,
- Foodservice,
- Technical Industries.
On Assembly in members of GS1 the organization from Turkmenistan which became was accepted
112 country as a part of this international organization.
The CEO of GS1 Azerbaijan Vafa Aliyev took part in work of the Assembly.
